How Do I Use An Ash Catcher?
First is to understand sizing and if you need a 14mm ash catcher or an 18mm.
Step 1. Fill the ash catcher with enough water so the tops of the percs are slightly submerged. Roughly about 30% of the ash catcher will be filled with water when done correctly. You can always do a test run before lighting up to check function.
Step 2. Place the stem of the ash catcher where you would normally put the bong's bowl. The bowl on top of the ash catcher now becomes where you ignite herb. Every order comes with a bowl for flower.

Bowl Size:
Where your weed is place and comes in two sizes, 14mm or 18mm. Match the ash catcher size to the size of your bowl, so a 14mm ash catcher would fit a 14mm bowl on a bong. If you don't know the size of your bowl try measuring it or reach out to our customer service team and we'll be happy to help.
Joint Angles:
The joint is what transports your smoke from the bowl to the piece. Joints come in 45 degree or 90 degree angles. 90 degree joints (pictured) have no downstem. You'll notice smoke leaves the bowl, travels straight down then takes a sharp 90 degree turn and enters the piece.
Gender:
Male bowls fit inside female joints and vice versa. The industry standard is a male bowl or bong attachment (like ash catchers) and a female joint. Which is what we did with our ash catchers and bongs. In the unlikely scenario your water pipe has a male joint, there are joint adapters readily available that will solve the problem.
14mm Ash Catchers
14mm ash catchers fit any bong with 14mm bowl size and 90 degree joint. Typically used on smaller bongs and beakers, pieces that use a 14mm bowl can greatly benefit from ash catchers because of the inherent lack of percolators. That's the beauty of adding a 14mm ash catcher your bong, it turns poor performing pieces into a masterpiece.
