Cleaning is easy and done just like a traditional piece. We also sell cleaning caps, plugs and solution that work great on all Freeze Pipe pieces!

What You Will Need:

Any store bought or homemade glass cleaning solution. To make your own cleaning solution simply mix Coarse Sea Salt and 99% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol).

Cleaning the Hand Pipes, All Glycerin Coils and UFO Perc:

Step 1 - Place into a large zip lock bag or plug both ends.

Step 2 - Pour cleaning solution in so the unit is mostly or fully submerged.

Step 3 - GENTLY shake and tilt the bag so solution runs from end-to-end.

Step 4 - Repeat this until the inside of coils look clean. For deeper cleans you can let soak for 10 - 15 mins.

Step 5 - Rinse thoroughly with room temperature water and let fully dry before using/ placing in the freezer.

Cleaning All Bases / Water Tanks:

Step 1 - Empty the old water from base.

Step 2 - Pour in solution and fill the base about a quarter of the way up.

Step 3 - Cover any open ends. Plugs work great for this, holding paper towels over openings also works.

Step 4 - GENTLY shake the base to spread around the solution and repeat this until cleared. For heavier cleans you can let soak for 10 - 15mins.

Step 5 - Rinse thoroughly with warm water and dry before usage.

📎 Putting The Clips On:

The big side of clip goes towards the base, the small side faces the glycerin coil.

💧 Water Fill Levels

Fill the base just enough so the tops of the percolators (the slits) are submerged with water. You can always do a test run before lighting. If no bubbles, add water, if you feel too much drag remove water.

For the Bong this means the tops of the sprinkler percs.

For the Bong Pro this means submerge the tops of the slits in the showerhead base.

How Long Do I Freeze The Glycerin Chamber For?

1-hour is all you need. But you can leave the chamber in the freezer in between sessions.

What Coils Fit On To The Bong and Bong Pro?

The Bong and Pro are 34mm and fit the original spiral coil, revolver coil, XL spiral, XL revolver, and the Straight coil.

Should I Freeze The Whole Unit?

NO! Only the coil should be frozen as water could expand in the base causing it to crack.

What's The Safest Way To Put The Clip On?

The best way to put the clip on is to support the back of the joint with your hand and push the clip into place.

Can I clean it with hot water?

NO! The best method is to use either our solution or salt and alcohol solution to clean your piece. Hot water can cause damage to the glass and potentially cause breakage.
