How Do Bongs Work?

Bongs work by forcing smoke and water to interact. Weed is placed in a bowl and upon ignition travels through a downstem and into the bong's base. Once in the base, percolators are used to create bubbles. When smoke particles attach to water molecules many harmful particles are removed, in addition to the smoke becoming naturally cooler.
