How To

Cleaning

Cleaning is easy and done just like a traditional piece. We also sell cleaning caps, plugs and solution that work great on all Freeze Pipe pieces!


What You Will Need:

Any store-bought glass cleaning solution or homemade solution (coarse sea salt + 99% isopropyl alcohol).


  1. Use any store-bought glass cleaning solution or a homemade mix of coarse sea salt and 99% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol).


  2. Add the solution to both the base and the glycerin chamber. Plug the openings (napkins work great!) and shake gently.


  3. Place the downstem in a plastic bag with cleaning solution and let it soak for at least an hour.


  4. For a deeper clean, let the solution sit in the base and glycerin chamber for 10-15 minutes.


  5. Rinse with room-temperature water and let everything dry completely before freezing the glycerin chamber again.


Important: Do not freeze the base—only the glycerin chamber is designed to be frozen.

FAQs

1-hour is all you need. But you can leave the chamber in the freezer indefinitely.

All the Big (34mm) Coils: Spiral Coil, Revolver Coil,  XL Spiral, XL Revolver, XL Straight coil, DNA XL.

Only the coil should be frozen as water could expand in the base causing it to crack.

Support the back of the joint with your hand and push the clip into place.

NO! Hot water can cause damage to the glass and potentially cause breakage. Use any store-bought glass cleaning solution or homemade solution of coarse sea salt + 99% isopropyl alcohol.


The big side of the clip faces down towards the base.

Submerge the slits in the downstem by about 1/2 to 1 inch. You can always do a test run before lighting. If no bubbles, add water, if you feel too much drag remove water.
