How To Clean Water Tanks / Bases
What you will need:
Any store bought or homemade cleaning solution. To make your own cleaning solution simply mix Coarse Sea Salt and 99% isopropyl (rubbing alcohol) Make sure to remove all bong water, Downstem's and bowls before cleaning.
Step 1 - Fill the base so it's 25% full of cleaning solution, if using salt/alcohol, add the salt first so it provides a nice layer over the bottom of the base.
Step 2 - Shake the bong, if possible, cover the holes. Shake it up and down and then side to side, depending on the area you are trying to clean. For dirtier bongs, feel free to add more solution or warm water. If there's a specific troublesome spot focus on that are and make sure the solution runs across it multiple times.
Step 3 - Rinse thoroughly with warm water, lightly shake the bong as the warm water is entering and leaving the base.
