How To Clean An Enail
Cleaning and maintaining an Enail comes down to two things, easy consistent maintenance after each use, and deep cleans once a month or so. The severity of each method depends on usage, but it still remains that taking a few minutes after each use or two will go along way in keeping your Enail functioning brand new. At the end of the day you're putting a sticky substance, like some homemade solventless dabs, inside electronics so some maintenance is to be expected.
Lets review each method in detail!
Quick Clean
Step 1 is to do a dry run. After your are done using the Enail do a dry run. This is done by cranking the Enail up to it's hottest temperature with no wax in it and letting it run a cycle. This will burn away anything that's left over in the quartz dish.
Step 2 is let it cool down after the dry run. Then take your standard Q-tip and soak it in isopropyl alcohol. Use this Q-tip to then wipe away any wax that's left in the quartz dish. It could take 1 Q-tip, it could take a couple, overall it isn't a long process at all and takes a few minutes at the very most.
If you do this simple step after each use your Enail will stay functioning great! But with that said, from time to time a deep clean will be needed. We recommend a deep clean every 1-2 months.
Deep Cleaning Your Enail
Start by unscrewing the metal joint and soaking said joint in isopropyl alcohol or a store bought glass cleaning solution. Similar to the general maintenance, take a isopropyl alcohol soaked Q-tip and wipe all in where the metal joint was. Usually when Enails get clogged it's because of build up in this region.
Follow up cleaning the metal joint region with them same steps done as a quick clean. When the metal join is done soaking make sure to dry and reattach to your Enail.
Again, neither of these methods are overly time consuming or difficult, it's about consistency than anything else.
Enails are fantastic inventions and have a myriad of health and experience benefits over quartz bangers and blowtorches. With this upgraded experience Enails do require a touch more TLC but with it comes a far superior product.
