Cleaning 101; Pieces, Glycerin Coils & Bases

Cleaning is easy and done just like a traditional piece. We also sell cleaning caps, plugs and solution that work great on all Freeze Pipe pieces!


What You Will Need:

Any store bought or homemade glass cleaning solution. To make your own cleaning solution simply mix Coarse Sea Salt and 99% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol).


Quick Clean For Coils, Bases, and Hand Pipes

  1. Add solution

  2. Plug any openings, napkins work great, and shake. You can also try our custom-made plugs and caps 

  3. Rinse with room temperature water and let coil / hand pipe fully dry before freezing again


Deep Clean Coils and Hand Pipes

  1. Place coil / hand pipe into a large zip lock bag

  2. Pour cleaning solution in so the unit is mostly or fully submerged

  3. Let soak for 10-15 minutes

  4. GENTLY shake and tilt the bag so solution runs from end-to-end.

  5. Repeat this until necessary  

  6. Rinse with room temperature water and let coil / hand pipe fully dry before freezing again

  1. See quick clean but let soak 10-15 minutes before shaking
