Cleaning

Cleaning is easy and done just like a traditional piece. We also sell cleaning caps, plugs and solution that work great on all Freeze Pipe pieces!


What You Will Need:

Any store-bought glass cleaning solution or homemade solution (coarse sea salt + 99% isopropyl alcohol).


  1. Use any store-bought glass cleaning solution or a homemade mix of coarse sea salt and 99% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol).


  2. Add the solution to both the attachment and the glycerin chamber. Plug the openings (napkins work great!) and shake gently.


  3. For a deeper clean, let the solution sit in the base and glycerin chamber for 10-15 minutes.


  4. Rinse with room-temperature water and let everything dry completely before freezing the glycerin chamber again.


Important: Do not freeze the base—only the glycerin chamber is designed to be frozen. Do not wet your Puffco, Refer to their website for cleaning instructions.

FAQs

1-hour is all you need. But you can leave the chamber in the freezer indefinitely.

All 18mm Coils: Spiral Coil, Revolver Coil, Straight coil.

Only the coil should be frozen as water could expand in the base causing it to crack. Do not freeze your Puffco or water tanks.

Support the back of the joint with your hand and push the clip into place.

NO! Hot water can cause damage to the glass and potentially cause breakage. Use any store-bought glass cleaning solution or homemade solution of coarse sea salt + 99% isopropyl alcohol. Do not wet your Puffco, refer to their website for cleaning instructions.


The big side of the clip faces down towards the base.

Submerge the slits in the percolators by about 1/2 to 1 inch. You can always do a test run before lighting. If no bubbles, add water, if you feel too much drag remove water.
